​Brian has co-led the development of the Neighborhood Hands pilot program with Founder, Bill Sullivan, since August 2020. After serving as interim director from November 2021 to March 2023, he became Neighborhood Hands' first full-time executive director in April 2023. 

With two degrees from the University of Notre Dame (M.A. Nonprofit Administration, '22; B.A. Sociology, '12) and a background in nonprofit consulting, small business management, and the performing arts, Brian’s goal is to listen first, ask all the questions, and help design an outside-the-box grassroots program that does four primary things: removes barriers for participants based on lived needs and experiences; increases accessibility, collaboration, and efficient connection among service providers and participants; creates a positive environment for social connection for neighbors of all economic and faith backgrounds; brings greater awareness to the macro socioeconomic and systemic issues that continue to make housing out of reach for so many in Silicon Valley.
